TIPS FOR USING YOUR BURROWBLASTER THIS AUTUMN
When you bring your BurrowBlaster out for the Autumn Season remember to do the following BEFORE going into the field.
- Change the batteries.
- Make sure your gas tanks are full
- Check the manual to make sure you remember the correct settings for the control unit and regulators
- Test your spark without gas
- Make sure you are getting a bang - test your gas mixture by letting 5 seconds of gas flow before igniting. Do this above the ground and make sure your have your ear protection on.
- Tighten all your connections (leaking gas may cause problems with ignition)
- If you still have the old copper nozzle on your wand, remember not to spark in the same hole twice as this may result in the wand burning.
COMMON PROBLEMS & WHAT TO DO
1. The end of the Wand is burnt or the wand end is intact, there is power reaching the green box, but there is no spark. You will need to send it back to us (the whole wand including green box) and we will provide you with a refurbished wand with new lifetime warranty on the sparking electrics and cone end. The price is £199.00 plus VAT which includes courier pick up and delivery. Please pay online or by BACS. Upon receipt of payment we will send a courier to collect the wand.
UPGRADES PROVING A GREAT SUCCESS
Many of you have already upgraded from the old wand to the new one and so far there have been no reported problems with the replacements. None of the new cones have burnt and none of the new electrics have failed since their introduction.
Upgrade Special to a lifetime warranty on wand electrics
If you are still using the old wand with copper cone, we strongly recommend that you upgrade to the new technology components. We refurbish your wand and replace the cone with more durable material including a stainless steel nozzle. The copper cones are continuing to melt whereas none of the new stainless steal nozzles have melted.
In addition, we replace your US made electics which are also continuing to fail on a regular basis with our new British Made electrics. The new electrics are made for the UK environment and they carry a lifetime warranty. So far none of the new electrics have failed in the field.
