	Question: I have burnt the end of my wand, do I have to buy a new wand? Answer: No. Just return it to Rural Pest Control Services Limited, 6F Thomas Way, Hersden, CT3 4JZ and we will repair it for you. There is a labour and parts cost for the repair of £99.00 plus VAT. The repaired unit is vastly improved and much more robust which should provide you longer life. Repaired wands have a stainless steel cone that will not burn and an improved 'in cone' ingition system that reduces the chances of the sparking pins burning in future. ___________________________________________________ Question: There is no spark. The gas seems to be flowing but it won't ignite. What should I do? Answer: If the bateries are more than a year old, replace them. Next, if you have the a volt meter check to see if the battery power is travelling all the way down the cable to the wand. Next, whilst looking into the wand cone check to see if the pins are still there, not damaged and no more than 1cm apart. Making sure that there is no gas in the area and that you have not had the gas on before doing this check, Press the ignition button whilst looking into the cone to see if there is a spark between the pins. If there is no spark, it is most likely that the electrics have failed. Simply call us and leave your name, postcode and phone number and we will send you a new sparking electrics kit to fit into the green box on the wand. Using original refurbished VARMITgetter parts, if your unit is still under warranty the new electrics are provided without charge. If the unit is out of warranty, there is a £19.00 plus VAT service charge. If you would like us to replace your electrics with a new sparking device developed in Britian that carries a lifetime warranty, the costs is £99.00 plus VAT whether your unit is in or out of warranty. _________________________________________________ Question: My hose has a hole in it and the cable end has fallen off. What shall I do. Answer: You will need to have it replaced. Gas leaking from the hoses will effect the mixture and the gases may not ignite properly. New hoses are available from us for £55.00 plus VAT. __________________________________________________ Question: If my control unit breaks where do I send it for repairs Answer: Send it to us, we are fully equiped to repair and replace any and all components of the VARMITgetter with British made components.
